Our city weekend continued on Sunday as we headed into Chicago via train (my favorite way to go) to the Printers Row Lit Fest. Nik’s mom, Patty, went with us too.
Nik looks like he’s right where he belongs: surrounded by books and smiling!
We didn’t end up buying very many books. Instead, we bought just a few from new authors we met. Nik talked with a few published writers and made some connections.
At the end of our trip we saw a panel “Ladies of the Write”, including Patty’s cousin, Meg Waite Clayton.
Spending time in downtown Aurora and Chicago last weekend was a lot of fun, but I need to make sure I get my out in nature time this weekend.
